4 juveniles arrested in connection to series of Ruckersville break-ins

Four juveniles have been arrested and charged for a string of break-ins earlier this year at a Ruckersville business.

Between Feb. 9 and March 14, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office said it responded to three break-ins at the same Ruckersville establishment.

“All of these break ins occurred at the same business and were happening during the nighttime hours,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “During these incidents, the business sustained substantial damage and a hefty loss of property.”

The sheriff’s office did not identify the name of the business.

Over the course of their investigation, sheriff’s deputies identified four juveniles connected to the break-ins. Those four juveniles were taken into custody Friday and charged with “multiple felonies,” the sheriff’s office said.

Due to their ages, the juveniles’ identities have not been made public.

All four remain in custody at the Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention Center outside Charlottesville.

The sheriff’s office said in its statement that due to the juveniles’ age no more information would be released regarding the matter.
