The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport has received $606,412 from a federal infrastructure grant.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao announced the grants Tuesday as part of $1.2 billion in funding to 405 airports through the Federal Aviation Administration.
CHO will use the money for improvements to the terminal building, reconstruct airfield guidance signs and upgrade runway and taxiway lighting.
