Fluvanna County-focused virtual forum on racial equity will be held Sunday

A Fluvanna County-focused virtual forum will be held Sunday in an effort "to support, preserve and protect black lives," according to a news release.

The forum will be held at 4 p.m. over Zoom and is limited to 300 attendees. The link is virginia.zoom.us/j/4075683354.

The release listed the following leaders as speakers for event: Fluvanna County NAACP President Ben Hudson; Supervisor Mozell Booker; Sheriff Eric Hess; Commonwealth’s Attorney Jeff Haislip; Deputy Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security Ryant Washington; Bertha Armstrong, with the Monticello Area Community Action Agency; Registrar Joyce Pace; New Green Mountain Baptist Church Pastor Margo Bruce; and Bayley Leyshon, a College of William & Mary student.
