One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting Tuesday morning in Waynesboro.
Capt. Jamie Dunn of the Waynesboro police said the shooting happened just after 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of James Avenue in Waynesboro.
Police were called to the area after a report of a discharged weapon.
Dunn said one person is dead and another injured. He said police are investigating, and more information would be available later.
