Greene County authorities are asking for the public’s assistance tracking down a homeless woman suffering from a mental illness reported missing Wednesday.
Lisa Laura Smith, 54, has been described by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office as a White woman with brown hair and green eyes standing 5-foot-1 and weighing 94 pounds. She has multiple piercings as well as a shamrock tattoo, though the sheriff’s office did not disclose the location.
Smith was reportedly seen at her place of work, the Forest Lakes Harris Teeter, earlier Wednesday. The woman identified as Smith was seen wearing a hospital bracelet, according to the sheriffs office, though it added, "This information has not yet been confirmed."
Smith is known to live out of her vehicle, a 2019 blue Honda Fit with a Virginia license plate reading, "SPRTOGD," and cardboard covering the windows.
