Police searching for suspects behind guitar theft at UVa frat house

University of Virginia police are asking for the public’s assistance tacking down three individuals believed to be responsible for the theft of at least five guitars from a fraternity house the day before Thanksgiving.

The three suspects are believed to have broken into the Sigma Nu house at 189 Culbreth Road in Charlottesville through an unlocked door around 5:26 a.m. Wednesday.

The police are circulating still images taken from surveillance cameras in the area and asking for the assistance of anyone who can identify the three individuals.

In the images, one suspect can be seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a black jacket, gray pants and brown or tan boots, another a black face covering, light hat, black jacket, blue jeans and tan boots, and the third a black face covering, dark hat, blue long-sleeve shirt, black vest, blue jeans and dark shoes.
