Charlottesville’s Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center will be temporarily closed for its annual maintenance from July 26 through Aug. 10.
During the closure, pass holders at the Fifeville facility may access the Carver Recreation Center, Washington Park Pool and Onesty Family Aquatic Center in the city.
Phone calls to the center will be forwarded and answered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the city.
Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center will reopen 7 a.m. Aug. 11.
Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center is located at 1000 Cherry Ave. During normal hours of operation, the facility is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
