Orange County authorities are asking for the public’s assistance tracking down the motorist who drove a car through a mailbox near Rhoadesville over the weekend.
The entire incident was captured on surveillance this past Saturday.
That camera footage shows a red sedan traveling down Pine Stake Road, traveling across the centerline and opposing lane and smashing through a mailbox before driving off.
"The red sedan has noticeable front-end and driver’s side damage and was last seen traveling northbound on Route 522," the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement issued Monday.
Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or its driver is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at (540) 672-1234.
