A Waynesboro man is being held at Middle River Regional Jail in Verona after his July 5 arrest on five felony offenses.
Michael Allen Cooper, 62, was arrested at Ridgeview Park after Waynesboro police responded to a report of a disturbance.
Cooper allegedly had been soliciting minors online, which, through investigation, confirmed his reported purpose being in Ridgeview Park.
Cooper is charged with the use of a communication system to solicit a minor, computer soliciting of a child under 15, two counts of computer use to commit certain sex offenses with a minor, and solicitation of prostitution from a minor.
Cooper is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail.
