Two people have been displaced after a house fire on Stagecoach Road just south of Charlottesville city limits Monday afternoon.
Career and volunteer firefighters with Albemarle County Fire Rescue responded to reports of a structure fire on the 400 block of Stagecoach Road around 3:12 p.m. Monday.
Neither of the residents were home at the time of the fire, according to authorities, and no injuries were reported at the scene.
The Red Cross is assisting the couple.
The Albemarle County Fire Marshal’s Office is leading an investigation into the fire’s cause.
