Albemarle County police are investigating a reported shooting just west of Charlottesville city limits Saturday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Colonnade Drive west of the Lewis Mountain area around 5:06 p.m. Saturday after receiving several reports of gunshots.
Police have not disclosed the names of any suspects or motives.
“There were no injuries or property damage reported,” the police department said in a statement. “This is an isolated incident with no threat to the public, and the investigation is ongoing.”
