A Charlottesville man is dead after a shed toppled over and fell on him.
Witnesses in the city’s Belmont neighborhood reported seeing a congregation of fire engines and first-responders near the intersection of Monticello and Blenheim avenues Thursday afternoon.
Authorities said the man was transporting the shed when it fell over and crushed him.
Life-saving measures were attempted, but the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene Thursday. Authorities have not released the man’s identity, but have said that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
