Firestone Complete Auto Care will mark the opening of its first Staunton location on Friday with a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton & Augusta County.
The ribbon-cutting event will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, when Bridgestone Retail Operations officially opens its new store at 1008 Richmond Ave. in Staunton. The auto care center will offer real-time tire and automotive service updates and the latest equipment and technology for quicker repairs.
A donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton & Augusta County will be presented as part of Bridgestone’s "Driving Great Futures" initiative, which has raised more than $20 million since 2015 to help bring Boys & Girls Club experiences to young people across the country.
Guests expected to attend include leaders from Firestone Complete Auto Care; Debra Freeman-Belle, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton & Augusta County; Alexis Dearmon, Staunton program director for the Boys & Girls Club; and Leslie Lusk, its Staunton community engagement director.
