Human remains were discovered after a structure fire in Waynesboro Friday morning.
The deceased has not been publicly identified. An investigation is underway.
Police Capt. Jamie Dunn said authorities responded to a small structure fire in the 200 block of Bookerdale Road around 5:39 a.m. Friday.
Dunn said the structure was neither a house nor an apartment.
