A Ruckersville residence appears to be totally lost after a house fire on Christmas night Wednesday.
There were no injuries reported at the scene.
Stanardsville Volunteer Fire Company crews were dispatched to a reported house fire Wednesday night.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a "well involved" blaze burning through a single-story residence sitting on a basement.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire by 8:30 p.m.
