Charlottesville police have found a local girl reported missing earlier this week.
“Jazmin Shifflett was located safely in Buckingham County,” police said in a statement issued Friday.
Charlottesville police requested the public’s help tracking down Shifflett on Thursday, noting that the girl is a Type 1 diabetic and may be in need of medical assistance.
“We thank the community for calling this in and assisting us in our efforts to locate this missing juvenile,” police said in their statement Friday.
